i sorta admire Janelle Monae, i think her music is a little like Cee Lo Green and all that stuff that is just a little bit out of the ordinary. she has this other song i know of called 'Many Moons' which is really good, she dances like an absolute spastic, and you can't see it very well in this video but she wears all of her hair combed up onto the top of her head. i couldn't look away while watching this whole video, and when she starts to cry at "i was made to believe there was something wrong with me" GOD damn its good.

i've gotten into these guys heaps really recently, i'm tending to find that all there stuff is similar but i think these ones are pretty good. and i think i missed the boat when these guys were big a while back so if this is all old shit to you i apologise. could be a couple of really good remixes out there of these songs too....? anyway Delorean are a spanish alternative dance band formed in 2000 in Zarautz, a Basque town and named the band after the iconic time machine featured in the Back to the Future series.3/4 of these songs are from their new album 'Subiza'. have fun x

i love Deez. this is undoubtably one of my favourite songs of his and i'm so glad it finally got a film clip. for all those lucky enough to see him at Parklife i hate your guts, i hope and pray he'll stick around for possibly BDO next year?! (fingers crossed)

4. September 28th is when the first line up for BDO 2011 comes out. the only official clues so far were put up on the Big Day Out Facebook page:

"One of the Big Day Out 2011 headline acts live in Los Angeles, California, USA. The other headliner doesn't. Both are bands, neither are solo performers."

"In '10 Mastodon performed their amazing album 'Crack The Skye' in its entirety. One of the 2011 acts will perform their classic album. PS they have played BDO before."
